In June 2006 2waytraffic acquired the Emexus Group, a mobile solutions provider. Emexus provides its services to over 100 companies and is active in 18 countries worldwide. The company generates revenues for its partners by providing a technology platform for content aggregation and delivering services and applications in the fields of mobile marketing, mobile entertainment and mobile internet. The company is headquartered in Almere, The Netherlands, and has offices in New York, Kuala Lumpur and Kiev.

In August 2006 2waytraffic acquired content developer Intellygents. Intellygents is a creative company which develops intelligent entertainment concepts for the game & quiz, light entertainment and reality TV markets. In addition to tailor-made format creation, the company provides consultancy services to its clients, which include Endemol International B.V., TWI Ltd. and Rai Uno. Intellygents' international breakthrough came in 2004 with the daily game show That's the Question!, which is successfully aired in the Netherlands (NL1), Switzerland (TSR) and France (TV5) followed by the daily prime time quiz show Take It or Leave It which has had significant success in Italy and the Netherlands and is soon to be introduced into the UK, France and Germany.
