2waytraffic aims to be a global leader in developing and exploiting interactive entertainment content across television, mobile and digital platforms.
In April 2006, 2waytraffic successfully listed on AIM, raising 35 million Euro in order to enable accelerated growth, both organically and through selective acquisitions.
Creative development is the backbone of our business, therefore we develop and acquire formats and creative talent in order to build an extensive catalogue of high quality formats. In 2006 2waytraffic enforced its creative assets by acquiring content developer Intellygents, followed by the acquisition of one of the most successful formats in the world “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” and the highly experienced team and format catalogue of Celador International.
“Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” represents a key format within 2waytraffic’s format library and provides access to a large number of additional broadcasters globally to whom further formats may be sold. In addition this acquisition provides the Company with a presence in the important UK media market.
As well as focusing on creative development, 2waytraffic is continuously expanding its international footprint through the start up of operating companies including those in the Benelux, Spain, Eastern Europe, the Nordic region and the USA and increasing its activities worldwide, with a focus on Europe and North America.
