Emexus and 2waytraffic’s mobile content division form new company
2waytraffic N.V. (“2waytraffic” or “The Company”) the international developer and exploiter of interactive content, announces today that Emexus, acquired in June 2006, and 2waytraffic’s mobile content division have been fully integrated and re-launched as 2waytraffic mobile.
2waytraffic mobile has been established to facilitate 2waytraffic’s growth ambitions regarding the creation, exploitation and roll-out of mobile entertainment services and to maximise the synergy and efficiency advantages gained since the acquisition. Additionally, the company’s corporate clients will have access to 2waytraffic’s unique interactive experience and know-how to reach and interact with mass audiences around the globe.
2waytraffic mobile combines Emexus’ technical expertise and established marketing and distribution platform with 2waytraffic’s mobile content and entertainment services. This offering will result in full coverage of the value chain, enabling the company to fully exploit the interactive content opportunities that the next generation of mobile technology will provide.
The company, headed by Managing Director Raymond Kokken, is headquartered in Hilversum, the Netherlands with local offices in New York (2waytraffic mobile Americas), Kuala Lumpur (2waytraffic mobile Asia Pacific) and Kiev (2waytraffic mobile Ukraine). The Group’s technical team continues to operate from Almere, the Netherlands. The Group is active in over 20 countries and has an extensive network across Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific region. It recently expanded its activities into Indonesia, Australia and South Africa.
