2waytraffic launches All Star Mr & Mrs at MIPTV 08
2waytraffic International is launching a new and star-studded version of its classic format Mr & Mrs at MIPTV 08.
Mr & Mrs is the cult game show which tests just how much - or how little - couples know about each other. Spring 2008 sees the revival of this classic format in a brand new series for ITV1, All Star Mr & Mrs, and 2waytraffic is delighted to present the format and finished series to the international market.
Maintaining all the elements that made the original show so popular, including the famous sound-proof booth, at the same time as bringing it bang up to date for 2008, All Star Mr & Mrs has the added appeal of promising viewers a unique, surprising and often hilarious insight into the relationships and home life of some of their favourite celebrities.
Anchored by two hosts, each hour-long episode features three celebrity couples (or celebrity and their partner) and three rounds, with the winning couple scooping a fantastic cash prize for a charity of their choice.
The celebrity couples make their entrance to the studio through a revamped version of the shows’ famous sound-proof booth, and other updates to the format include pre-recorded video segments of the celebrities taking part; an audience item; questions using photos, video and props; a quick fire round; and a new version of the Mr & Mrs carriage clock consolation prize.
Ed Louwerse, Managing Director of 2waytraffic International, said:
“We’ve already been approached by a number of companies from around the world expressing interest in Mr & Mrs and I’m delighted to be able to present this updated, celebrity version in Cannes next month. It is high-quality, mass-appeal family entertainment at its very best.”
Both the format and completed 8 x 60’ series of All Star Mr & Mrs hosted by Philip Schofield and Fern Britton, made for ITV1 by Celador Productions, are available.
