Hilversum, 12 December 2006 Ed Louwerse appointed Managing Director 2waytraffic International
2 Way Traffic N.V. ("2waytraffic" or "The Company"), the international developer and exploiter of interactive content, announced today the appointment of Mr. Ed Louwerse as Managing Director of 2waytraffic International B.V., from 1 February 2007. Mr. Louwerse is currently Director of International Sales at Endemol International.
Louwerse (39) will be responsible for the global exploitation of the 2waytraffic catalogue of over 170 formats, except for the USA, the UK, Eastern Europe and the Nordic region where the Company has local operations In addition, Mr Louwerse’s role will include overseeing the Company's international sales & licensing department, its interactive television team and the consumer products team. Ed Louwerse will report to Chief Executive Officer Kees Abrahams.
Ed Louwerse has an extensive track record in international format sales and licensing. He started his television career in 1995 at the Dutch production company IDTV. As a Senior Licensing Manager at Endemol International, Louwerse broke fresh ground selling formats such as Big Brother and Deal or no Deal into unexplored territories for Endemol including Eastern Europe, Middle East and North Africa. In 2005 he was promoted to Director of International Sales, a role in which he was responsible for the global exploitation of the entire Endemol format catalogue.
